NOTE: If you are attending in person, the room has been changed to E-107.  Also, you will be required to wear a mask while on campus and during the event.

The Niagara County Community College (NCCC) Henrietta G. Lewis Library presents this free special event on Tuesday, November 16th at 2pm.  NCCC Mathematics Professor Jerry Truesdell will present A Brief History of the NCCC Property in Sanborn.

Description: Jairus Rose (1768-1828) and Daniel Treichler (1774-1860) are both great-great-great-great grandfathers of Jerry Truesdell. Jairus Rose purchased the present college property in 1811 from the Holland land Company, and a generation later in 1858 Daniel Treichler’s son, Samuel, purchased the west side of the college property.   Come hear Professor Truesdell give a brief narrative of both of these families, as seen through the lens of current properties in Sanborn.

This event will take place on the NCCC campus in room E-107 and be broadcast simultaneously via Zoom on Tuesday, November 16th at 2pm.  Registration is required.   Please register below.  When registering please indicate if you plan on attending in-person or watching via Zoom.  If attending via Zoom, you will receive an email with the Zoom link the morning of the presentation.   Deadline for registration is one hour before the start of the program.
